From clogged drains to sewer cleanings and septic installations, we've probably heard every question. To assist, we have included the most frequently asked questions and answers below:

Why is routine septic tank pumping important for septic systems?

Preventative maintenance is more cost effective in the long run. Scheduled pumps prevent solids from entering the drainfield and lengthens the life of a drainage system. When our septic experts preform PM, the also inspect the overall condition of the tank, lid, baffle and lift station

How often should tank be pumped?

Depending on the system and the household size a good rule of thumb is no longer than 3 years. Our team of experts can design a pm program specific to your needs.

What is a riser?

A riser is a tube that goes from the top of your tank to ground level. A lid is securied down with several screws and sits flush with the ground. A riser can save a lot of money and headache. You will never question where your tank is, and in the event of an emergency, or even routine pump, you will never have the hassel of digging to find your septic tank lid. Our septic expert can design a riser for you when he comes to pump your tank. Installation of your riser is usually same or next day.

What is a septic tank additive?

In the age of antibacterial everything, we destroy the bacteria necessary for our septic tanks to function properly. A certain level of bacteria is necessary to break down the waste. We have a specially formulated additive, Bioforce, one packet once a month flushed down the toilet will help maintain the bacteria level necessary for your system to operate at its maximum potential.

Are wipes flushable?

NO!! Many products claim to be flushable, well they may flush, but they do not breakdown. This causes major back ups and can be a very costly mistake.
